Summer municipal courses managed through the Municipal Sports Service of the Concello de Arteixo.

What are the municipal courses?

The Concello de Arteixo, through its Municipal Sports Service, organises surf courses every summer at Sabón beach, taught by Arteixo Surf Club.

These are 10-week courses, Monday to Friday, in morning or afternoon sessions. Open to children, teenagers and adults.

Registration is done directly through the Concello de Arteixo, not through the club.

Morning session

10:00 – 12:00

Monday to Friday · 2 hours/day

Afternoon session

16:30 – 18:30

Monday to Friday · 2 hours/day

Draw

If there are more applications than available places, a public draw is held.

Publication of the accepted list

The list of admitted participants and waiting list is published.

Enrolment

Admitted participants complete enrolment within the specified period.

After the registration deadline: Remaining places are available for free registration, with no requirement to be a resident of Arteixo.

Classes are held at Sabón beach, Arteixo, 10 minutes from the centre of A Coruña.

Our facilities are in the first building at the beach entrance. Participants change and leave their belongings there during lessons.

Children who finish the municipal course can stay with us for the rest of the morning. Snack, surfskate and complementary activities until 14:00.
