Fee and payment method

The fee for annual members and monthly students is paid at the start of each month by direct debit (SEPA) or in cash at the club's premises. Cash payments are confirmed manually with the club.

Service communications

As part of the contracted activities, the club sends students and legal guardians operational service notices —schedule changes, class reminders, payment confirmations and notices— by email and SMS to the contact details provided at enrolment. Formal financial communications are sent by email. These notices are part of the service provision and do not constitute commercial communications.

Cancellation

To cancel club membership, the member must notify us before the 15th of the month prior to the effective cancellation date. Cancellation takes effect on the first day of the following month.

If the cancellation request is made after the 15th, the following month's fee will be charged and the member may continue to use the facilities until the end of that month.

This notice policy applies to annual members. Monthly students may cancel at any time: the cancellation takes effect on the last day of the current month, that month's fee is non-refundable, and the place is held until the end of the month.

Image consent

The club may request authorisation to use photographs and videos taken during activities for promotional and communication purposes, including social media and the website. This consent is requested separately and explicitly during registration, is voluntary and may be revoked at any time by written notice to the club.

Participation conditions

   The student authorises the club and its team of instructors to travel to local beaches (Sabón, Barrañán, Bastiagueiro, Santa Cristina or others) according to sea and wind conditions, always under the supervision of the responsible instructor.

2. 2

   Surfing involves inherent risks. The student (or their legal guardian) acknowledges these risks and releases the club and its team of instructors from any liability arising from accidents or injuries during the activity, except in cases of gross negligence directly attributable to the club.

3. 3

   Arteixo Surf Club has accident and public liability insurance covering all club-organised activities.

4. 4

   The club is not responsible for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings or sports equipment belonging to students during activities or at club facilities.

5. 5

   Knowing how to swim is essential to participate in surf classes. The student (or their legal guardian) declares they have this ability at the time of enrolment.

6. 6

   Failure to comply with club rules or behaviour that is harmful to the group or its team may result in expulsion without refund of fees paid.

7. 7

   Annual members are required to pay the federation licence at the time of registration, in accordance with the current rates of the Surf Federation.

Returns and refunds

Arteixo Surf Club applies the following refund policy to fees paid:

• Billing error or duplicate charge: The club will refund the incorrectly charged amount within a maximum of 30 calendar days from the claim, by the same payment method originally used.

• Early cancellation attributable to the club: If the club cancels the contracted activity for its own reasons (closure, unrecoverable class suspension), the proportional portion of the monthly fee for unused days will be refunded within a maximum of 30 calendar days.

• Voluntary cancellation by the member: Fees already charged are non-refundable. Cancellation takes effect at the start of the following month, in accordance with the cancellation policy described above.

To request a refund, contact the club at clubsurfarteixo@gmail.com stating your name, membership number and the item to be refunded.

Booking and payment

The drop-in class is paid in full when the booking is confirmed, by credit or debit card through the secure payment gateway TPV Virtual BBVA (Redsys).

The drop-in class price is €40 per person. Annual club members are entitled to a reduced rate of €30, applied automatically when logging in.

Booking confirmation

Payment does not automatically guarantee a place. The booking is confirmed only once the club validates it based on availability and sea conditions. You will receive a confirmation or rejection message at the email address provided.

Cancellation and refund policy

• Cancellation more than 48 hours in advance: Full refund of the amount paid, within a maximum of 5 business days by the same payment method.

• Cancellation less than 48 hours in advance: No refund will be issued.

• Cancellation by the club: If the club cancels the class due to sea conditions or other causes, the full amount will be refunded within a maximum of 5 business days.

• Billing error or duplicate charge: Immediate refund of the incorrectly charged amount, within a maximum of 30 calendar days.

To request a refund, contact the club at clubsurfarteixo@gmail.com stating your name, the class date and the reason for the request.

Participation conditions

   Participants must be able to swim to take part in surf classes. The participant (or their legal guardian in the case of minors) declares this ability at the time of booking.

2. 2

   Surfing involves inherent risks. The participant (or their legal guardian) acknowledges these risks and releases the club and its team of instructors from any liability arising from accidents or injuries during the activity, except in cases of gross negligence directly attributable to the club.

3. 3

   Arteixo Surf Club has accident and public liability insurance covering all club-organised activities.

Booking and payment

The camp may be booked by full weeks or by single days. A full-week booking is confirmed once a 35 € deposit per child and week is paid, which is deducted from the total. Single days require no deposit.

The deposit is paid by credit or debit card through the secure BBVA Virtual POS payment gateway (Redsys). The weekly price decreases when booking several weeks (volume discount), according to the current rates published on the website.

The remaining amount for each week is charged automatically to the card provided four days before the week starts, unless cash payment at the premises has been agreed with the club.

Day passes

Single-day requests are subject to the club's approval based on availability. Once approved, they are paid in full within 48 hours via the payment link provided; if not paid within that period, the request is voided.

Cancellation policy

• Cancellation more than 48 hours before the camp starts: the camp fee is refunded. The 35 € deposit is non-refundable.

• Cancellation less than 48 hours before: no refund is given.

• Day passes already paid for are non-refundable.
